At Brainex , we believe that providing a strong foundation for learning is not enough. This is why we put in extra effort to make learning Math a happy experience by using Vedic Maths techniques. Our Max Maths TM (Vedic Maths) Program focuses on enhancing the numerical skills of young children, providing them with a competitive edge that will last a lifetime. It is important to note that Vedic Maths is not related to Sanskrit, Vedas, or Sutras, but is purely a scientific method of solving mathematical problems in multiple ways. These methods cannot be labelled as shortcuts or tricks, as even western scholars and schools have incorporated them into their curriculum. To truly appreciate the beauty and effectiveness of Vedic Mathematics, one must practise the system. Only then will it become clear that it is perhaps the most refined and efficient mathematical system possible.
WHAT IT IS And WHAT IT IS NOT ?
The first thing parents and children need to understand is that there is nothing Vedic about Vedic maths (yes of course the scientific formulas are all written secretly in Vedas, but that's where the anxiety should end). Thereon it all becomes purely scientific, creative, logical, easy and fun for anyone and everyone, who wants to learn maths.
Another thing to understand is that there is quite a lot of research going on in western world, especially in America and the UK on Vedic maths. Quite possibly in a few years’ time, we may have to import it from the west and include it in our academic curriculum. As the YOG has become YOGA, the Vedic maths may take a different name and meaning.
One final word from us at Brainex is that it will be a big disservice on our part, if we don't impart this scientific, creative and simple yet powerful way of doing maths to our children.
